Where can I go parasailing in Puerto Vallarta?
Boats launch from Los Muertos beach in the Zona Romántica, from the Hotel Zone beaches and from Nuevo Vallarta. Flights last 10–12 minutes at about 150 m, solo or tandem, and you take off and land dry from the back of the boat. Mornings have the calmest air and the clearest views of the whole bay.
Do I need a license to rent a jet ski in Puerto Vallarta?
No license is needed; you get a short safety briefing, a life jacket and a marked zone to ride in. Drivers must be 18+ and passengers 8+. Rentals are usually 30 minutes, which is plenty in the bay chop — book an hour only if you want to run along the coast toward Los Arcos with a guide.
What is the calmest beach for paddleboarding in Puerto Vallarta?
Early morning at Playa Camarones and the Hotel Zone, or any time in Nuevo Vallarta and La Cruz, where the bay is flattest. Conchas Chinas is beautiful but rockier. SUP and kayak rentals include a board, paddle, leash and vest; guided sunrise SUP tours along the Malecón are the best photo op in town.
