OUTBACK ATV TOUR
Our tour
begins with a leisurely walk through the Puerto Vallarta
Botanical Gardens, where we find our ATVs. Passing seasonal
waterfalls, we make our way to the small community of
Las Juntas y Veranos, where we'll head off-road, following
a dirt trail past beautiful mountain scenery and through
rural Mexican villages. We'll reach a family-owned tequila
distillery, where we'll sample many flavors - white
tequila, reposado, anejo, cafe, almond, & a mix of the
two flavors which they call "tiramasu".
Just down the
road, we'll stop in at famous Chico's Paradise, where
we'll watch an impressive cliff diving display before
cooling off in the river with some exciting body surfing,
ending up at an oasis of hidden waterfalls and a fun
waterfall slide that we can plunge over head first to
a pool below.
Back on the ATVs
now, we'll set off down dirt roads and over bridges
to Los Veranos, where we'll have a hands-on encounter
with monkeys, a huge python, and even a scorpion and
tarantula (ew!) among other local Puerto Vallarta animals
- great photo opportunities! Then it's back to the botanical
gardens for lunch at their Plantation restaurant. A
great way to experience the outback of Puerto Vallarta
in a totally gay-friendly environment.

WHEN:
* Twice daily at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm
WHERE:
* Operator's office in downtown Puerto Vallarta,
or at the Botanical Garden. Detailed instructions will
be specified on your e-ticket.
WHAT TO BRING:
* Driver's license
* Credit card for damage deposit
* Clothes you Don't mind getting soiled (long pants
are recommended)
* Swimwear and towel
* Comfortable footwear
* Sunscreen and sunglasses
* Camera
WHAT TO EXPECT:
* English speaking guide
* Safety equipment and briefing
* About 15 miles (24km) of ATV driving
* Entrance fee and tour of the Botanical Garden
* Lunch at the Botanical Garden restaurant
* Tequila tasting
* Entrance fee to access the petting zoo at the Los
Veranos canopy site
* Beverages (beer and soft drinks)
HOW LONG:
* About 5 hours
NOTES:
* Drivers must have a valid driver's license.
* You can go directly to the Botanical Garden early
and meet up with the tour group there.
